We loved this Italian ALOT - All home made pasta which was utterly delicious. We had Vongolé, carbonara and Scoglio ( can recommend all 3) the homemade pasta makes it for sure.
We shared the Bruschetta,
Pistachio Cannoli for desert ( OMG the Cannoli was good!!)
Nice unique Italian wine selection.
Staff were very attentive and the restaurant was warm, bright & inviting ( it was -1 outside )
We don’t live in SW but when we next visit we will definitely be returning here.
Really pleased to see there is another lovely non-chain restaurant in town. I’m sure it will proof very popular.
Ps …. Didn’t get a pic of dessert as it looked so good it was all spoons go!

Went to lunch at Trio for the first time today and was served by Erin who was excellent, friendly and attentive. Delicious lunch, we’ll be back!

My third time in Trio tonight and I can confidently say it’s one of the best restaurants I’ve been in.
The food is always spot on and the staff are super attentive and friendly. (Highly recommend the Gnocchi Frittas as a side/starter)
Whether you’re popping in for lunch or taking the family out for dinner… I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

We had a lovely birthday meal, atmosphere in the restaurant was so cozy but classy! Staff were so attentive and the food was delicious and fresh! Food portions are very generous! Mango Sorbet so delish! Cocktails were so tasty! We drove from Ripon to Safron Walden to try out Trio, and it was so worth it. All in all, just an amazing experience! Arin, Anna and Khan, you should all be so proud! Amazing❤️

Had a wonderful evening last night at Trio. Anita was our waitress and handled a table of loud ladies amazingly well!! Food was delicious and the cocktails were amazing. Would definitely recommend.

We ate here for the first time last night with our two girls and had a lovely meal. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. A really nice selection to choose from on the menu and reasonably priced. We'll definitely eat here again next time we're in Saffron Walden.

So it was my 60th birthday celebrations for 20 people and I can honestly say that the service and food was excellent from start to finish , they made us feel so welcome and joined in the birthday celebration xx would definitely recommend this place , thank you so much , ☺️ x thank you to all the staff that was working tonight 16th November

Came here for dinner tonight whilst staying away for work. Food was top notch, extremely generous portions and the service was second to none. Will probably be back over the course of our short stay in Saffron Walden. Definitely recommend!

We dined in Trio on a Friday night to celebrate a 40th birthday. The food was delicious, I had the seafood linguine which I highly recommend. The service was amazing, our waitress Anita was so friendly. All the staff were warm and welcoming which makes such a difference. They really helped make our friends birthday feel very special. The cocktails were great too! I would definitely go back again! Thanks for a lovely time!

We’ve eaten here several times and never had a disappointing meal, always freshly cooked and well presented. The staff are brilliant, very professional but willing to have a chat and a laugh! Would highly recommend

Excellent and welcome addition to local dining. Couple on minor glitches main courses did not all arrive at the same time. The pistachio cake was a little dry.
Think the menu could be trimmed and benefit from a a daily special. Overall would recommend

Nice cozy place with amazing pizza! Had the diavola and the fennel sausage topping was divine! The staff also very generously sorted us out with some fresh dough to make our very own! Would definitely visit again!

Best pepperoni pizza I’ve had, served on slate with a proper pizza knife. Friendly, efficient, attentive staff. Fun, stylish and comfortable. Child’s allergies managed scrupulously. Can’t wait to go back! Sean

Visited Trio in Saffron Walden with my husband, and it was an absolute delight! The food was delicious, and the flavours were incredible—every dish was perfectly balanced. Anna was an absolute gem with such a warm and welcoming aura, making our dining experience even better. The waiters and waitresses were so friendly and always had a smile on their faces, adding to the great atmosphere. Highly recommend trying the Parmigiana, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Tiramisu—they were all outstanding! We can’t wait to visit again and explore more of the menu. A fantastic addition to the local dining scene!

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with how good this restaurant was! Saffron Walden finally has some great Italian food! The service was fantastic; from when we entered and were greeted by the lovely Anna with a genuine big smile to the waitress who was constantly checking if we needed anything and were happy. The food honestly was so tasty! The portions were a good size and each dish was fresh, had perfect seasoning in my opinion and had so much flavour. I will be going again soon and will recommend this place to my friends and family.

The environment is very nice. The tables are not too close to each other. Captures the sunshine outside that makes the inside look bright and new.
I think it's one of the best restaurants in Saffron Walden.
